I am from Catania, one of the beautiful cities of the island of Sicily. I am a qualified and experienced teacher of both Italian and English as second languages. As a result of my many interests and passions I also hold degrees in both Sociology and Politics as well as Languages.
I am based in London, and I have been the head of the Italian language courses in the City of London for the Lloyd’s Language Club for over 20 years. As well as teaching at The Royal Opera House, Burberry, City University and many more.
Italiano Allegro was born here in London, from my desire to help English speakers learn Italian in a way that feels natural, personal and enjoyable.
I love teaching languages. Why? Because it gives me the opportunity to share my passion with the students who embark in the fascinating world of learning a new language.
